A fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Structural Engineer to join a thriving and well-established engineering consultancy in Northampton where you'll play a key role in shaping a variety of exciting projects across multiple sectors including education, commercial, residential and retail.
Responsibilities
Lead the design and analysis of various structural projects
Oversee the work of junior engineers and provide mentorship and guidance
Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success
Participate in the preparation/presentation of proposals/bids as required including estimating timescales and costs for proposed works
Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards
Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively
Requirements
BEng/MSc in Civil/Structural Engineering
Minimum of 4 years' experience
Chartered or working towards chartered status with ICE or IStructE
Experience working towards British standards on Eurocodes
Experience working with all major materials including concrete, steel, masonry and timber
Proficiency in structural analysis software and AutoCAD
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
