About the Role:

Our client is in search of an experienced Senior Civil Engineer with expertise in the UK water industry. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to prestigious projects and shape infrastructure development while maintaining a focus on engineering excellence. You will work on both infrastructure (Trunk Mains, Distribution Mains, strategic connections) and non-infrastructure projects (production site civils and structural alterations).

Key Responsibilities:

Project Leadership:

• Lead and manage projects from initiation to completion.
• Mentor and guide project teams to achieve successful outcomes.
• Ensure timely, budget-conscious, and high-quality project delivery.

Client Engagement:

• Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
• Work closely with clients to understand objectives and provide bespoke solutions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Work alongside multidisciplinary teams, including contractors, structural engineers, and environmental specialists.
• Promote a collaborative and inclusive team environment.

Quality Assurance:

• Implement quality control measures to ensure engineering integrity.
• Review deliverables to meet the highest industry standards.

Innovation:

• Stay updated on industry advancements and emerging technologies.
• Contribute to innovative and sustainable engineering practices.

What Our Client is Looking For:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in civil engineering with a proven record of successful project delivery.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) status with a recognised institution (e.g., ICE) is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and structural analysis tools.
• Deep understanding of civil engineering principles, construction methodologies, and materials.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
• A commitment to safety, sustainability, and engineering excellence.
