At NEW Water, we're committed to protecting our environment and public health. We're seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Technical Services to lead our efforts in maintaining and improving our critical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership & Strategy: Provide strategic direction for the Technical Services Division, fostering a culture of safety, respect, teamwork, and environmental stewardship.
• Operational Excellence: Oversee the daily operations of the Engineering and Field Services Departments, ensuring efficient and effective wastewater treatment and conveyance.
• Capital Program Oversight: Lead the development and implementation of NEW Water's capital improvement program, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with regulations.
• Innovation & Sustainability: Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements, promoting the use of innovative technologies and sustainable practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Chemical, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of professional experience, including 5+ years in a supervisory role.
• Experience in wastewater treatment administration and capital project management.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required within 6 months of hire.
