Key Responsibilities for a Principle Civil Engineer

Lead and manage a small team of engineers, overseeing the delivery of work packages with minimal supervision.
Ensure timely submission of deliverables, technical reviews, budget monitoring, and commercial management of projects.
Support the development and performance of professional staff through guidance, training, direction, and feedback.
Engage in the design of both temporary and permanent works, ensuring high-quality standards and the right solutions from the outset.
Provide internal team leadership in implementing engineering solutions.
Lead day-to-day technical discussions and collaborations with other designers, contractors, and clients.
Ensure adherence to technical briefs and project requirements.Qualifications and Experience for this Principle Civil Engineering role:

Strong academic background with postgraduate qualifications in civil or structural engineering.
A minimum of 10 years of experience.
Chartered status in civil or structural engineering with membership in relevant professional bodies.
Excellent interpersonal and technical skills.
Proven experience in a dynamic engineering consultancy environment.
Extensive experience in tunnelling and underground space on major infrastructure projects.
Strong commercial acumen.
Proficient in BIM and other design software.
Comprehensive knowledge of relevant standards, legislation, regulations, codes of practice, and guidelines.Salary and benefits:
