Water Hygiene Engineer
A leading company in water treatment is looking to expand its engineering team with an experienced Service Technician. This opportunity is ideal for a skilled engineer seeking a new challenge, who can join a team of experienced plumbers and technicians with strong knowledge of L8 compliance works.
About the Role
The Service Technician will travel daily to client sites, primarily within the London area, with occasional national travel. The ideal candidate should be based in South London or within a reasonable commuting distance. The role requires someone who can immediately contribute by applying their expertise and working independently.
Key Skills and Responsibilities
Ability to work unsupervised and manage own workload effectively.
Strong understanding of domestic systems and experience with remediation, such as diagnosing faults in TMVs and addressing non-compliant temperatures.
In-depth knowledge of L8 compliance activities, including but not limited to:
TMV servicing
Temperature monitoring
Showerhead disinfection and descaling
Calorifier services
Diagnosing non-compliant temperatures
Experience with closed system analytical testing is desirable.
Capability to work both as part of an engineering team and independently.
Good communication skills, as the role involves reporting to the operations manager and account managers
