**Position:** Senior Structural Engineer (Contract)
**Location:** London (Hybrid: Minimum 3 days in-office)
**Contract Length:** 12 months**Hourly Rate:** Competitive, reflecting level of experience

#### **Role Overview:**
We are seeking a highly experienced **Senior Structural Engineer** to join our dynamic team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, with strong expertise in RC (Reinforced Concrete) frame residential schemes. You will be part of a fast-paced, busy office environment, contributing to multiple live projects across various stages of development.

#### **Key Responsibilities:**
- Lead structural engineering efforts on **RC frame residential projects** from design through to construction.
- Collaborate with internal teams, architects, and external consultants to ensure successful project delivery.
- Manage and contribute to a variety of projects, with responsibilities including feasibility studies, detailed designs, and technical assessments.
- Work closely with project managers to ensure structural design aligns with client requirements and overall project goals.
- Prepare technical reports, drawings, and specifications, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and contribute to team development.

#### **Essential Experience & Skills:**
- Minimum of **5 years** experience as a Structural Engineer, with a focus on **RC frame residential schemes**.
- Experience working on **diverse projects** in addition to residential schemes is advantageous.
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a **dynamic team** setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to produce and review high-quality technical documentation, designs, and reports.
- Strong understanding of relevant **building codes** and **regulations**.

#### **Preferred Qualifications:**
- **Chartered Engineer (CEng)** status or working towards chartership (preferred but not essential).
- Proficiency in industry-standard structural design software.

#### **Work Arrangement:**
- The position requires attendance at the **London office a minimum of 3 days per week**, with flexibility for remote work on other days
