Job Title: Setting Out Engineer

Work Pattern: 5 days of site

People Group is looking for a Setting Out Engineer to work for a leading service provider in the water and wastewater infrastructure sectors in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform setting out and surveying duties on various surfacing and asphalt projects.
Interpret and execute engineering drawings, plans, and specifications.
Coordinate with site managers, subcontractors, and other team members to ensure accurate implementation.
Monitor and report on progress, quality, and compliance with safety standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise during the construction process.
Maintain accurate records, including site diaries, as-built drawings, and progress reports.
Ensure all works are carried out to the highest standard within time constraints.Qualifications and Experience:
Proven experience as a Setting Out Engineer, and competent in Set-out, Quality Assurance, as-builts, surveys, levelling.
Experience within the water sector on utility projects.
Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and best practices.
Proficiency with setting out equipment such as total stations and GPS.
Valid CSCS card, relevant engineering qualifications, Thames Water Passport or equivilant, Water Hygiene, SMSTS
