Protecnium is an international consulting firm specializing in engineering and technician services (www.protecnium.com/en). We are currently looking for a Design & Build Engineer to join our team for an airport construction project.

Estimated duration of the position: 36-48 months - In general, when the project ends, we try to place the employee in other projects to give them continuity.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and oversee detailed designs for building and civil engineering projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and project requirements.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to establish design parameters, timelines, and construction methodologies.
  • Perform structural calculations, materials selection, and feasibility studies to support efficient and cost-effective design solutions.
  • Supervise on-site construction activities to ensure alignment with design specifications, quality standards, and safety protocols.
  • Review and modify design documents based on field observations and construction progress, providing technical support to resolve issues as they arise.
  • Manage design revisions and updates throughout the project lifecycle, coordinating with subcontractors and construction teams.
  • Prepare technical reports, drawings, and specifications, and communicate project updates and design changes to stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to environmental and sustainability standards in all phases of design and construction.
  • Utilize advanced design software, including AutoCAD, Revit, and Civil 3D, for drafting, modeling, and optimizing design plans.


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Industrial Engineering.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in building and heavy civil construction projects.
  • Proficiency in English (C1 level) and legal authorization to work in the UK.
  • Advanced skills in AutoCAD, Revit, and Civil 3D software.
