Our client, a medium consulting company with offices across the UK a are looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to join their growing team in London, England!
What you will need:
* Civil Engineering/Structural Engineering degree.
* Minimum 5 years of relevant Structural Engineering experience.
* Proficient in AutoCAD and experienced in working with design codes, specifically Eurocode.
* Strong conceptual design skills and ability to work in 3D.
* Excellent attention to detail with proficient sketching ability.
* Practical detailing sensibility.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
* Proven ability to manage multiple projects, work independently, and collaborate effectively within a team.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Lead and manage projects across multiple sectors, including residential, commercial, public, educational, and temporary works design, from conception to completion.
* Develop and maintain strong client and architect relationships, actively participating in new project proposals and fee reviews.
* Conduct conceptual and feasibility stage designs, followed by comprehensive reports and DTM presentations.
* Independently check and review detail designs to ensure compliance with industry standards.
* Evaluate tender submissions by contractors and provide valuable suggestions to clients.
* Conduct regular site visits during key structural construction stages to ensure safety and adherence to design specifications.
* Provide leadership and guidance to a team of graduate engineers, technicians, and other professionals involved in a project.
* Deliver regular technical training sessions to graduate engineers and placement student
What you will need:
