Structural Engineer - Structural Steel

Structural Engineer ready to step into a role that's as unique as you are? Do you want the freedom to make a lasting impact at a renowned structural steel fabricator with a 60-year legacy in delivering varied projects. This is your chance to join East Anglia's leading structural steel fabricator in a career-defining role as their very first Structural Engineer.

Why This Role is Different

This isn't your typical consultancy position or just another role with a Steel fabricator. You'll work directly with Owners and the Senior leadership team. My client boasts extensive in-house production capabilities and a highly skilled drawing office. You'll have the autonomy to apply your design expertise and make a tangible difference in the structural designs, connection designs, and steel frameworks that define agricultural, commercial, and industrial projects across the region and beyond.

What's on offer for you

  • Total Role Freedom: You're at the helm-make the role your own, shaping how we approach structural engineering in a well-established, dynamic steel fabricator.
  • Above-Market Salary: We believe in rewarding exceptional talent with an exceptional salary package.
  • Unmatched Culture: Join a collaborative team with a supportive work environment where innovation thrives.
  • Relocation Support: Ready to move to make this role yours? We'll support you to make it a smooth transition.

Your Role & Responsibilities

As the first Structural Engineer in this close-knit environment, you'll:

  • Develop and implement innovative structural designs with a focus on connection design.
  • Collaborate closely with our expert drawing office, production team, and clients, playing a crucial role from conception to completion.
  • Bring fresh ideas to enhance and evolve our design and production processes, creating efficient, cost-effective structures.

If you're ready to pioneer a truly unique position and make a substantial impact in a legacy-rich organisation, contact Matthew lee, matthew.lee@arm.co.uk / 02392 228218 I would love to hear from you.
