Our client is an award-winning and well known, design and engineering consultancy.

We are currently looking to recruit 2 x permanent Principal Civil Engineers to join the expanding civils / structures team. One role will be based in London and the other in Manchester(hybrid).

The role

As a Principal / Associate Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the project teams deliver civil and structural designs in exciting sectors such as power, defence, nuclear and life sciences. While leading the team and managing the costs, you will be responsible for resource management and meeting the schedule and quality criteria.

Some of the things you will do

Daily leadership of the civil and structural engineering team

Leading on the Civil and Structural delivery of design across various projects including multi- discipline teams

Development of programmes and control of change

Tender preparation for projects of all sizes, including fee estimates

Carry out technical design reviews / critiques of projects in progress

Mentor, train and develop junior engineers
