My client in Fareham, Hampshire is currently in need of Senior Structural Engineer due to expansion.
Job Description
As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will be immersed in a dynamic design environment, working closely with developers, architects, and local authorities on a variety of projects. You will manage the technical delivery of structural designs, reports, specifications, and contract documents for projects across multiple sectors, including residential and commercial.
This role requires both technical expertise and leadership abilities, where you will guide and develop junior engineers, oversee multiple projects, and ensure that all designs meet technical standards, regulations, and client expectations.

Skills & Experience Required
* Qualifications:
* Accredited degree in Structural Engineering or equivalent.
* Chartered (or working towards) membership of the Institution of Structural Engineers (IStructE) or Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE).
* Experience:
* Minimum 7-10 years' experience in structural engineering design and construction.
* At least 3 years' experience working in UK design, ideally in residential and commercial sectors.
* Technical Skills:
* Proficiency in structural design software such as TEKLA, TEDDS, and MasterSeries.
* Experience with AutoCAD and Revit.
* Knowledge of NHBC regulations, health and safety standards, building regulations, and design codes.
* Leadership & Communication:
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts clearly and concisely.
* Proven ability to manage and mentor a team, setting an example in both technical delivery and client management.
* Project Management:
* Experience managing projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
* Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and maintain strong client relationships.
