JOB SUMMARY

An incredibly well established consultancy based in Belfast and actively looking for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to work on projects across the UK and Ireland. You will initially be working independently, with a view to growing your own team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct site assessments and manage ground investigations
• Review and produce reports on soil parameters, foundations, and contamination
• Lead geotechnical design, including slope stability analysis, shallow foundation, pile, retaining wall, soil nail, ground anchor design, and piling platforms
• Design temporary works structures for deep excavations
• Supervise technicians and attend client meetings
• Ensure project compliance with health, safety, and quality standards

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering or Geology
• Strong geotechnical design experience
• Proficient in design software and MS Office
• Strong communication, project management, and problem-solving skills
• Willing to travel; full driving licence preferred
