Are you ready to build a strong foundation in structural engineering within the telecommunications industry? We're looking for a driven Structural Engineering Graduate to join our team and grow with us!

About the Role

In this developmental role, you'll dive into the world of telecoms, gaining a solid understanding of civil and structural engineering basics as well as telecommunications technologies, network architecture, and protocols. You'll receive dedicated support from a cross-functional team of industry experts, learning how to use essential tools and systems that empower our engineering team.

Your Focus:

As a key member of our Structures team, you'll collaborate on initiatives that could shape the future of our operations, from design audits to validation and analysis. By supporting our experts, you'll help drive efficiency and be part of transformational changes.

What You'll Be Doing

• Learning on the Job: Shadow experienced team members to understand telecoms civil and structural engineering.
• Hands-On Experience: Participate in site visits and support design calculations, audits, and documentation.
• Collaborate with Stakeholders: Engage with customers, suppliers, and major industry players like Vodafone & Telefonica.
• Drive Innovation: Contribute ideas to streamline processes and support new initiatives.
• Build and Share Knowledge: Aid in creating and maintaining guidance documents, share critical documentation, and contribute to our design manual.

Essential Qualifications & Skills:

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, accredited by the Engineering Council.
• Basic Knowledge of telecoms and UK Mobile Network operators.
• IT Proficiency: Comfortable with Microsoft applications.
• Proactive and Adaptable: Quick to adjust to changing requirements.
• Physical Readiness: Able to undertake training for climbing and rooftop work.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Telecoms Engineering Insight: Any experience in telecoms is a plus.
• Ambition for Accreditation: Eager to work towards ICE or IStructE accreditation.
• Innovative Thinking: Strong drive to develop skills and knowledge.
