Crouch Waterfall is an award-winning engineering consultancy with offices located throughout the country. As a small to medium-sized enterprise experiencing rapid growth, we have exciting opportunities available. We are looking for flexible and practical engineers who can grow with the company while pursuing their personal ambitions. Our offices in Cardiff and Bristol are seeking enthusiastic Graduate Engineers to join us in 2025. The ideal candidate should be proactive, dynamic, and intuitive, capable of working independently as well as collaboratively with other team members.
The company has an ICE-approved training scheme designed to support the development of all Graduate Engineers towards achieving Chartership. As a small to medium-sized enterprise (SME), we offer unique support to our Graduate Engineers, providing them the opportunity to work closely with our Senior Engineers to ensure their training needs are effectively met.
The Role:
The position requires a Graduate Engineer with a BEng or MEng degree who is eager to work in structural or infrastructure design. We are looking for a candidate who is interested in diversifying their skills across various project areas, including domestic and commercial structures, bridge design and refurbishment, as well as temporary works in both the public and private sectors.
Candidate Qualifications & Experience:
The ideal candidate should be familiar with engineering software and have a basic knowledge of AutoCAD. As an Engineer, you will be expected to take ownership of certain projects within your area of responsibility, collaborating with other Engineers and Technicians in your team and other offices.

Relevant Civil/Structural Engineering degree
Salary:
Remuneration will be commensurate with background and experience in line with the current industry rates. The package includes pension scheme, Health Insurance, 25 days annual leave + Bank Holidays and cycle to work scheme.
Contracted Hours:
40 hours per week. Flexible working hours. Core business hours are Monday to Friday, 9.30am - 4.30pm.

- Design of civil and structural schemes
- Review and checks of other schemes prepared by others
- Carrying out inspections and surveys of structures and preparing reports
- Undertaking feasibility / option studies
- Preparation of project programmes
To be considered for this structural design role we require the following experience, qualifications, skills, knowledge and attributes;
Relevant Civil/Structural Engineering degree
- Full UK driving licence and own transport would be useful but not imperative
- Eligible to live and work in the UK and high standard of written English
Salary:
