Your New Role
As a Civil Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development of the 300 MW battery storage project. You'll be responsible for producing technical layouts, conducting site investigations, and liaising with key stakeholders, including local authorities and utility undertakers. You'll lead the development of civil deliverables, such as layout designs, drainage systems, and foundation plans, ensuring the project's compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards. You will also oversee technical aspects, including negotiating with statutory bodies, managing consultant appointments, and ensuring that the designs are fully aligned with project requirements. Additionally, you'll support the commercial, construction, and sales teams by providing crucial engineering insights and addressing technical queries, ensuring the quality and consistency of the project's technical output.
Your Background
You are a Civil Engineer with over three years of experience, preferably nearing professional qualification status. You have expertise in civil infrastructure, including roads, sewers, and retaining walls, and are proficient in Civils3D, Micro-drainage, Autocad, and Autotrack. With a strong background in managing engineering projects, you excel at coordinating with multiple stakeholders and maintaining high-quality technical output. Your passion for renewable energy and decarbonisation drives your work, and you're confident in delivering complex infrastructure projects on time and within budget.
