Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior/Principal Geotechnical Engineer at A F Howland Associates. The role involves conducting geotechnical site investigations, analyzing soil data, designing foundations, and providing expert advice in engineering geology. While the role is primarily located in Norwich, there is flexibility for some remote work.
An interest, or experience in trenchless construction, slope engineering and foundation engineering would be beneficial, but not essential.

- Site Investigation and Soil skills
- Geotechnical Engineering and Foundation Design expertise
- Knowledge in Engineering Geology
- Experience with geotechnical software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geotechnical / Civil Engineering or a related field
