Senior Structural Engineer
Join a reputable, employee-owned engineering consultancy as a Chartered Structural Engineer in their Edinburgh office, part of a 35-strong building structures team. You will collaborate with a diverse group, including a Director, Senior Associate, experienced engineers, graduates, and technicians.
Your role will involve managing multiple projects, mentoring junior staff, and delivering high-quality engineering designs. Current projects include small-scale residential and educational works, a large Net-Zero initiative at Heriot Watt, the Royal High School redevelopment, and various distilleries. All projects are design focused and therefore it is essential that you enjoy detailed and complex engineering design. It is beneficial to have an interest in conservation and historical projects due to the nature of the work delivered by the practice.
Requirements:
Chartered Engineer with a recognised institution
Strong skills in Tekla and Masterseries
Familiarity with FEA software (e.g., SCIA)
Proven project management experience
Mentoring experience preferredOffer:
£45,000 - £55,000
Flexible hybrid working
35-hour week, 5% matched pension
