An established consultancy that provides contractual and commercial support to Tier One main contractors, is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team of qualified professional consultants.
They work on some of the biggest infrastructure projects in London and the South East, across a range of sectors including rail, highways, marine and utilities. Expert in all aspects of NEC and JCT contracts, they work with their clients' commercial and project management teams providing long-term and short-term support.
Their qualified team of professional consultants have a range of expertise from graduate, intermediate, senior and expert and are available to work on-site at a chosen location, remotely or within our offices. They can provide change management, dispute avoidance and adjudication management.
Job Responsibilities:
Administering a variety of contracts in accordance with project objectives and policies.
Providing accurate project cost monitoring, forecasting and reporting to completion in line with budget.
Pro-actively monitoring and managing cost variance and contract cash flow, and ensuring that applications are made correctly and in a timely manner.
Collaborating with client and contractor teams to manage the delivery of project deliverables, KPIs, and objectives, including programme performance, cost control, and value engineering.
Managing contract change effectively, ensuring that projects remain within governance and adopt best practice
Driving improvements in the accuracy of forecasts and budgets
Person Specification:
Ideally Degree qualified (or equivalent) in a relevant subject
Ideally hold or be working towards an appropriate professional body membership or equivalent.
Contract Management (NEC3, Option C preferred)
