My Client, a market leading multidisciplinary Engineering Consultancy, which specialises in Flood Risk, Infrastructure and Structural Engineering, is searching for an Assistant Civil Engineer to join their River Restoration Team based in Glasgow.

This exciting role will offer candidates the opportunity to join a friendly team of Engineers and Hydrologists to complete Flood Risk and River Restoration Projects for local Authorities and Government Bodies.

As an Assistant Engineer you will be trained by the team to complete technical work including;

-Flood Risk Management.

-Surface Water Management Plans.

-River Restoration by reinstating natural processes to restore biodiversity.

-Peat Restoration Schemes.

This role offers a competitive salary, substantial benefits package, company benefits and career progression.

It is essential that applicants have a strong BSc and MSc in Civil or Environmental Engineering and ideally experience working for a UK based Consultancy. You are also expected to have a keen interest in Flood Risk Management, Embankments and River Restoration.

It is also beneficial for applicants to reside in Scotland and have experience using AutoCAD for designs.
