Our client is an award-winning and well known, design and engineering consultancy.

We are currently looking to recruit a Senior Structural Engineer to join the expanding civils / structures team, to be based in Manchester.

The role

As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the project teams deliver civil and structural designs in exciting sectors such as power, defence, education, nuclear and life sciences. Being a Senior Engineer within the civils and structures team you will be managing the project delivery and working as part of a the wider multi-disciplinary resources.

We would like to hear from you if you have

Proven experience of leading a structural engineering team / working as a Senior Structural Engineer

Working towards professional membership IStructE or ICE

Relevant engineering BSc

Experience with coordinating and leading on design across various projects including working across multi- discipline teams

Supporting with mentoring, training and development junior engineers

Monitoring project delivery an reporting to Principal or Associate

Experience of tender preparation for projects of all sizes, including fee estimates

Excellent technical knowledge of civil and structural design methods and standards
