Role: Senior Geotechnical Engineer

Location: Belfast

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000

JOB SUMMARY
Our client, a leading consultancy, is looking for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to work on projects across the UK and Ireland.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct site assessments and manage ground investigations
Review and produce reports on soil parameters, foundations, and contamination
Lead geotechnical design, including slope stability analysis, shallow foundation, pile, retaining wall, soil nail, ground anchor design, and piling platforms
Design temporary works structures for deep excavations
Supervise technicians and attend client meetings
Ensure project compliance with health, safety, and quality standardsREQUIREMENTS

Degree in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering or Geology
Relevant geotechnical experience
Proficient in design software and MS Office
Strong communication, project management, and problem-solving skills
Willing to travel; full driving licence preferredBENEFITS
