Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor project teams, providing guidance to engineers at all experience levels and promoting a collaborative and supportive work culture.
- Project Oversight: Lead multiple projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and meet the required quality standards. Coordinate resources effectively, engage with stakeholders, and adhere to the consultancy's QMS and IMS procedures.
- Training & Development: Assess the training needs of junior engineers, ensure they have access to the necessary tools and software, and actively support their career development.
- Financial Management: Track project budgets and timelines, promptly addressing any changes in billing or resource allocation with senior management to maintain profitability.
- Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong client relationships, identifying opportunities for repeat business and new projects. Contribute to the preparation of bids to help secure future work.
Ideal Candidate:
- Chartered status.
- Strong experience across a range of civil infrastructure projects.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and client management skills.
- A passion for sustainable engineering and delivering innovative solutions.
