Role & Responsibilities As a Chartered Structural Engineer, you will:
- Lead and manage structural engineering projects involving masonry, groundworks, and temporary works.
- Produce detailed structural designs and calculations adhering to relevant codes and standards.
- Conduct site visits to inspect works and provide technical support during construction.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other professionals to deliver projects efficiently.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to the development of the team's technical capabilities.
About YouTo succeed in this Chartered Structural Engineering role, you should have:
- A Chartered Engineer status (MIStructE or MICE).
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in structural engineering, preferably within a consulting environment.
- Proficiency in structural design and analysis software.
- A strong background in masonry structures, groundworks, and temporary works.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive approach to project management and a keen eye for detail.
