I am actively seeking an experienced Civil Engineer/Senior Civil Engineer to join a busy, successful Civil and Structural Engineering consultancy based in Birmingham. You will assist in managing one of their busiest civil and structural teams where you will have the opportunity to be a part of their growing division, taking part in large commercial and industrial projects, such as highway design, infrastructure and drainage designs.

It is essential for the candidate to have a professional and commercial viewpoint through having the following:

• A minimum of 5 years' work experience within an engineering consultancy firm
• Qualifications of either Meng, BEng, HNC or HND in Civil Engineering
• Knowledge of technical software with Micro drainage/flow, AutoCAD, AutoTrack and Causeway Live/PDS/ Civil 3D
• Working knowledge of highway and drainage design standards;

Duties and responsibilities for this Civil Engineer/Senior Civil Engineer include:

• Utilizing design-based software systems for new infrastructure solutions
• Conducting private and public sector projects
• Following appropriate UK design standards
• Design of sustainable drainage systems (SuDS) in accordance with current design guidance and legislation.
