Opportunity to become the technical leader of a civil engineering team in Bristol, within a multidisciplinary office, reporting to the local director office leader:

  • Competitive starting salary of £50,000- £65,000 per annum
  • Diverse project workload, roughly 50% residential and 50% non-residential, including some high profile and challenging local projects
  • Privately owned, small medium enterprise (own culture and identity)

  • Learn and develop, alongside the office leader
  • Take ownership of the technical outputs of the civil team
  • Manage the civil team members
  • Encouraged to support non-delivery activity, developing marketing skills, work winning, business operations if that's for you (noting some people want to focus on delivery and that works well for us too- we recognise and appreciate both aspirations).


Your credentials:

  • Technical ability and mindset to deliver quality on time to clients
  • Working knowledge of Section Agreements 278, 38, 185 and 104 and design tools such as Civil3D and WinDes
  • 8+ years UK market experience, including in the residential sector
  • Proven Principal Engineer, or Senior Engineer who is ready to be considered for promotion to Principal Engineer
