Role: Senior Structural Engineer

Location: North Essex

Salary: Dependant on experience

Rise10 are working with an award winning, multi-disciplinary property consultancy and trusted advisor, offering Architecture, Project Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering and Building Surveying services to a wide variety of clients in the UK.

Due to their continued success and growing business demands they are looking for a Senior Structural Engineer working on a diverse portfolio of projects throughout the UK.

The purpose of the role is to manage the design and planning of construction and alteration of various structural/infrastructure projects.

Duties:

• Build and maintain strong business relationships with clients to achieve long term goals and manage construction plans.
• Organise and lead technical surveys.
• Inspect properties to check conditions/structural integrity.
• Approve technical calculations.
• Produce detailed technical designs, submit technical documents and drawings for tenders.
• Managing fee projections.
• Supervise a small team.
• Travel to sit visits and client meetings.

Skills and Experience:

• Experience within in a similar role for a consultancy firm.
• Must have experience in a client facing role and enjoy this part of your work.
• Degree or equivalent in Structural Engineering.
• You must hold a UK driving license and have your own transport.
