Nexos is seeking an experienced Lead/Principal Structural/Civil Engineer to join our Aberdeen team on a full-time basis.

In this key role, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality structural/civil engineering solutions and ensuring alignment with our engineering procedures and core values. You'll provide guidance to our team of skilled engineers, maintain technical excellence, and play a vital role in project delivery across a diverse portfolio.

What You'll Do:

• Deliver technically excellent work, adhering to company procedures and industry standards.
• Provide guidance to the project team in relation to workload, quality assurance, and project delivery.
• Act as the focal point for design scopes, project changes, and client communications.
• Provide technical input for tenders, proposals, and multi-discipline designs.
• Support recruitment, training, and development of team members, as a technical expert.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and budgets.

What You'll Bring:

• Degree-qualified in a relevant engineering discipline and Chartered (ICE/IStructE).
• Expertise in brownfield offshore projects and steel structure design (concept, FEED, and detailed).
• Strong knowledge of relevant codes and standards (e.g., Eurocodes, AISC, DNV).
• Proficiency in engineering tools like STAAD.Pro and Mathcad.
• Commercial and contractual acumen in engineering projects.
