About the Role
As a Senior Civil Engineer, you'll play a vital role in delivering diverse and challenging projects, from small-scale developments to large, multi-building schemes. Your expertise will shape the infrastructure of the future while collaborating with talented professionals in a supportive and forward-thinking team.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the Civils Team on projects of varying scales.
* Design infrastructure solutions, including underground drainage systems and roads to adoptable standards.
* Liaise with statutory bodies like water companies, the Environment Agency, and local road departments.
* Utilise technical design tools such as AutoCAD, Civils 3D, and other relevant software.
* Maintain quality and consistency in technical outputs, including drawings and reports.
* Mentor junior team members, fostering growth and excellence.
* Attend design and site meetings and conduct site inspections.
* Provide expert advice to clients, contractors, and colleagues, ensuring professional communication.
* Manage projects within agreed budgets and timelines.
You will have:
* A degree in Civil & Structural Engineering (chartership is an advantage).
* Strong technical design skills and proficiency in relevant software.
* A proactive approach to managing teams and delivering high-quality results.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
