Structural Engineer
Birmingham (Hybrid)
Permanent Staff Position
Great opportunity with one of Europe's leading multi-disciplinary design practices who have an outstanding track record of creating award winning buildings. They design inspiring buildings in which their engineering ideas help shape design rather than simply facilitate the delivery of an architect-led solution.
They are seeking an ambitious Structural Engineer to join their award winning civil & structural engineering team. You will play an active role in the growth of the Birmingham team, as well as supporting a diverse range of high-profile projects across a number of sectors that include healthcare, education, retail and workplace.
The Person
Our client is seeking a passionate and dedicated Structural Engineer with excellent design, technical, and software skills, who enjoys working collaboratively in multi-professional design teams. You will be involved with the development of designs and the production of construction information for the delivery of major national and international projects.
You will have relevant experience of working within multi-disciplined design teams supporting the development of structural designs for building structures across all construction sectors.
You will have good communication skills, be self-organised, have a passion for structural design, enjoy working within a motivated team, and have an enthusiasm for architecture and building design.
You will be able to demonstrate a good technical aptitude and have experience in use of varied structural design analysis software. Experience of Tekla Structures, TEDDS, Staad PRO and Etabs would be beneficial.
Experience of working within a BIM environment is desirable with knowledge of Revit beneficial.
