Our client, is seeking a highly skilled Senior/Principal Civil Design Engineer to join their team on a contract basis. This role involves working on wastewater projects, specifically Severn Trent projects, with a blend of office (Redditch, Midlands) and remote work.

Key Responsibilities:

Leading the design and development of civil engineering solutions for wastewater projects
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality engineering designs
Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
Providing expert advice and technical guidance to junior engineers and project teams
Maintaining project documentation and preparing detailed reports
Conducting site inspections and assessments as required
Participating in client meetings and presentations
Overseeing project timelines and managing resource allocation

Job Requirements:

Experience in civil design engineering, specifically within the water sector
Proficiency in designing solutions for wastewater treatment projects
Understanding of non-infrastructure projects
Strong knowledge of relevant engineering software and tools
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification
Eligibility to work inside IR35 compliance
