* Oversee feasibility studies, design meetings, and site inspections, providing expert recommendations.
* Ensure adherence to quality procedures, safety standards, and project timelines.
* Assist in preparing bids, proposals, and marketing materials to support business development efforts.
Key Skills and Requirements
To excel in this role, you should have:
* Qualifications: HND/HNC in Civil or Structural Engineering.
* Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in engineering principles, British Standards/Eurocodes, and design software.
* Experience: Competence in designing with concrete, steelwork, timber, and masonry for new builds and refurbishments.
* Soft Skills: Strong organisational, time-management, and communication skills.
* Leadership: Experience supervising, mentoring, and delegating tasks to junior team members.
* Project Expertise: Skilled in managing client relationships, identifying engineering solutions, and preparing detailed specifications and reports.
* Safety Awareness: Familiarity with CDM regulations and buildability aspects.
