Our client, a prominent organisation in the nuclear sector, is currently seeking a Civil Structural Engineer for a contract role in the North West on a hybrid basis. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a significant project in the nuclear industry, requiring specialised expertise and SC Clearance.

Key Responsibilities:

Designing, evaluating, and implementing structural solutions for nuclear facilities
Performing rigorous structural analyses to ensure the integrity and safety of nuclear infrastructure
Developing detailed engineering reports and presentations based on analysis
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project objectives are met
Ensuring compliance with relevant nuclear and structural engineering standards
Inspecting and supervising on-site structural works to maintain high standards of workmanship and safety
Providing technical guidance and support to junior engineers and project teams
Liaising with clients and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and project delivery

Job Requirements:

Experience in structural engineering within the nuclear sector
SC Clearance is mandatory for this role
Proficiency in structural analysis and design software
Strong understanding of nuclear safety standards and regulations
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification
