Our client, a prominent organisation in the nuclear sector, is currently seeking a Civil Structural Engineer for a contract role in the North West on a hybrid basis. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a significant project in the nuclear industry, requiring specialised expertise and SC Clearance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing, evaluating, and implementing structural solutions for nuclear facilities
• Performing rigorous structural analyses to ensure the integrity and safety of nuclear infrastructure
• Developing detailed engineering reports and presentations based on analysis
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project objectives are met
• Ensuring compliance with relevant nuclear and structural engineering standards
• Inspecting and supervising on-site structural works to maintain high standards of workmanship and safety
• Providing technical guidance and support to junior engineers and project teams
• Liaising with clients and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and project delivery
  
  

Job Requirements:

• Experience in structural engineering within the nuclear sector
• SC Clearance is mandatory for this role
• Proficiency in structural analysis and design software
• Strong understanding of nuclear safety standards and regulations
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
• Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification
