Consortium Professional Recruitment is excited to partner with a reputable engineering firm in Leeds in their search for a Senior Civil Engineer. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to support the delivery of a variety of infrastructure projects for both private and public sector clients. You will be part of a dynamic team, managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while showcasing your expertise in civil engineering design and project management. This position is ideal for someone looking to take the next step in their career while contributing to the growth of the Civils & Infrastructure team. Role Purpose & Key Responsibilities:
- Produce designs and manage the work of others within the team, ensuring quality and efficiency in project delivery.
- Develop road and sewer designs to adoptable standards.
- Conduct flood alleviation schemes and flood risk assessments.
- Design sustainable drainage systems.
- Utilise software such as Civil 3D and MicroDrainage.
- Lead design discussions and client meetings
- Presenting reports to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
- Experience in a similar role or readiness to step up to a senior position.
- Degree level qualification or equivalent in a relevant field.
- Chartered status or working towards chartership.
- Proficient in IT and Design systems.
- Experience in leading flood risk and surface water separation projects from concept to construction.
- Enthusiastic professional with a passion for challenges and career progression.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Flexible and adaptable, capable of managing multiple priorities under pressure.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and improvement.
- Valid UK Driving License.
