Our client, is currently seeking a Principal Civil Engineer to join their dedicated team in Bermondsey. This permanent position offers a unique opportunity to play a key role in leading drainage and infrastructure projects across various sectors including residential, landscape, national trust, public realm, and industrial ventures.

Key Responsibilities:

Leading and managing drainage and infrastructure projects from concept to completion
Utilising Microdrainage and Civil3D software to develop efficient and innovative solutions
Overseeing the design and implementation of SuDS and retrofitting projects
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated project outcomes
Engaging with stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met and expectations are managed
Providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers
Ensuring all project work complies with relevant codes and standards
Preparing and presenting detailed technical reports and proposals

Job Requirements:

Strong experience in civil engineering with a focus on drainage and infrastructure projects
Proficiency in Microdrainage and Civil3D software
In-depth understanding of SuDS, highway, and civil engineering principles
Excellent project management and leadership abilities
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
Relevant civil engineering degree or equivalent qualification
