My client, a well established civil engineering consultancy, is seeking a Principal Civil Engineer to join their expert marine engineering team in London. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future of marine infrastructure, working on industry-leading projects, and driving technical excellence within a dynamic and collaborative environment.
The Role:
As a Principal Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for:
* Leading the design and delivery of marine infrastructure projects from tender through to detailed design.
* Managing client relationships, ensuring high-quality service and clear communication.
* Driving business growth, collaborating with senior leadership to secure new projects and partnerships.
* Providing technical expertise in the design and assessment of marine structures such as jetties, quays, wharves, and cofferdams.
* Mentoring junior engineers, fostering talent, and ensuring high technical standards.
What You Bring:
* BEng/MEng (Hons) in Civil or Structural Engineering (Chartered status preferred).
* Extensive experience in marine structure design and assessment.
* Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to mentor teams and deliver results.
* Regulatory knowledge of CDM regulations and Quality Management Systems.
* A solid understanding of geotechnical principles relating to marine infrastructure.
* A proactive, client-focused approach with strong communication and collaboration skills.
