Think Recruitment have a new opportunity for a Senior Structural Engineer to join our client, working on a variety of interesting and technically challenging projects within the industrial and manufacturing sectors.
Our client are looking for an experienced Engineer to play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality structural projects on time and within budget while leading a team of engineers and technicians, collaborating with clients and ensuring the successful delivery of structural designs and calculations. To be considered for this position, the ideal candidate will have a background in:
Delivering structural engineering projects, ensuring quality, budget, and timelines are met.
Preparing and reviewing building regulations calculations and project specifications.
Managing project teams, resources, and budgets.
Developing project briefs and tendering for subcontractors.
Conducting structural surveys and preparing detailed reports.
Ensure compliance with QA standards and health and safety regulations.Ideally Chartered or near Chartered with IStructE / ICE, you will have expertise in the design of steel, reinforced concrete, masonry, and timber and be proficient in Eurocodes, British Standards, and modern design software such as TEDDS.
