Faculty Position in Structural Engineering and Geotechnical Engineering at NCHU, Taiwan

The Department of Civil Engineering at National Chung-Hsing University invites applications for two tenure-track faculty positions in (1) Structural Engineering and (2) Geotechnical Engineering at the level of assistant professor (or above). The successful candidate is expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses, develop strong research programs, supervise graduate students, and be involved in service to the university and the profession.

The applicant must have an earned Ph.D. degree in structural engineering or materials.

• a detailed curriculum vitae,
• a statement of career goal and teaching plan,
• abstract of Ph.D. dissertation,
• a list of publications (published after January 2015),
• supplemental information (e.g. project, research plan, special honor …etc.),
• photocopies of the Bachelor, Master, and Ph.D. diploma,
• copies of the major publications in the past 7 years.

The applicant must have an earned Ph.D. degree in geotechnical engineering.

• an autobiography with statement of career goal,
• copies of the Bachelor, Master and Ph.D. diploma,
• abstract of Ph.D. dissertation,
• a list of publications (published after 2015/2/1),
• one representative SCI paper (published after 2017/2/1~2021/8/15) and copies of the major publications in the past 7 years (published after 2015/2/1~2021/8/15)
• recommendation letters (up to 3 letters),
• supplemental information (e. project, research plan, special honor …etc.).
