Position Information:

Current Vacancies:
Board of Water Supply (Construction Branch): 
 Plans and coordinates construction and inspection activities in maintaining standards in the construction of various major complex construction projects (pipeline, reservoirs, booster stations, pump stations, etc.); develop, review, and process plans, specifications, estimates, and contract documents for construction activities ensuring proper compliance; and provides oversight and technical assistance to construction inspectors during field inspections throughout various construction phases and projects.  There are currently three vacancies. 

Department of Design and Construction (Facilities Division - Construction Management Branch):  There are currently two vacancies.

Department of Environmental Services: There are currently two vacancies in the Environmental Quality Division and three vacancies in the Collection System Maintenance Division. 



Minimum Qualification Requirements: 

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT: Equivalent to graduation from an accredited college or university with major work in civil engineering.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Three years non-registered professional Civil Engineering experience.
 
License Requirement:
1. Current State of Hawaii registration as a professional engineer in Civil Engineering.

2. Applicants with an out-of-state license in Civil Engineering must obtain their Hawaii license prior to appointment.
