This Project Manager will assist the Urban Construction Initiative Program Coordinator with a number of state and federally grant funded transportation projects. This position manages projects of substantial cost, scope, and complexity to include but not limited to state and federally funded transportation projects that involve multi-modal elements like bike facilities, new pedestrian access and safety features as well as vehicular capacity improvements. Primarily and most frequently the work done here is performed independently under the general supervision of the Development Services Manager.

The hiring salary will be between $58,848.55 and $84,026.89 annually. Starting offer is based on applicable education, experience, and internal equity. This is a 40-hour Long-Term Temporary, exempt, position.   • (Long Term Temporary positions are eligible for all city benefits except retirement. These jobs are not guaranteed, but are expected to continue for more than 12 months. This position may be approved to be converted to a regular position in the future. If that occurs, the incumbent will be eligible to convert to a regular status.)
Minimum Requirements: 
  • Any combination of education and experience equivalent to degree from an accredited two-year college or university which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. 
  • Minimum of three years of comprehensive project management experience in full life-cycle project management that includes experience in directing and leading project teams.
