ES3 is currently recruiting an Electrical Engineer to support multiple programs and long-term growth at our Engineering Center located in Clearfield, Utah. This position requires experience in multiple areas of aerospace engineering focused in a production development environment. The successful candidate will be involved in all activities from R&D, design, procurement, manufacturing and production, quality assurance, and customer satisfaction. Strong knowledge and experience utilizing engineering tools such as Altium Designer, to design embedded systems from the R&D phase through to manufacturing. Strong knowledge of interfacing with embedded systems for data acquisition, and embedded displays is greatly desired. The position will also require great communication and organizational skills. The successful candidate will be a responsible professional, a self-motivated leader who can thrive in an ISO9001:2015/AS9100D environment. This position offers a telework worksite arrangement.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Qualified candidate must have a strong working knowledge of creating schematics for the design of new products utilizing Altium Designer.
Familiarity with Embedded Displays
Designing for MIL-STD-461 compliance, and other MIL-STD and DO-160 Testing
Highly organized and detail oriented
Review of highly technical documentation
Strong analytical skills
Must be able to work independently
Excellent communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Working knowledge of ISO / AS9100 Quality Management Systems
Expected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices

Education and Experience Required
Minimum of Bachelor of Science Degree, Electrical or Computer Engineering
Minimum of 5 years post-graduation design experience in an engineering and AS9100 production facility
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
Fully capable of taking a product from design to production in the most efficient manner
Ability to multitask, prioritize, adhere to written procedures and experience with ISO/AS9100 requirements, standards, and compliance issues
