This position requires a solid understanding of composite materials and their processing. Experience in the sales process is helpful. Strong organization skills and the ability to manage the daily operations of assigned accounts are needed to succeed in this role. Motivation and innovative thinking are necessary to ensure revenue growth and to add value to a client’s business, while uncovering new opportunities.
Manage and grow existing business with current suppliers and customers
Identify new opportunities and assist with the development of new products
Acts as technical sales resource for day to day inquiries from new and existing customers.
Negotiate pricing, terms and conditions between suppliers, customers and distributors
Coordinate timely deliveries with shipping and receiving departments at both ends of the supply chain
Attend trade shows and industry related events
Travel to suppliers’ and customers’ locations for meetings and presentations
Submit timely sales and product forecasts
Build and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders
Monitors competitor products, sales and marketing activities.
Bachelor of Science Degree in a Science or Engineering discipline
5+ years of experience with demonstrated growth and achievement
Knowledge of the Composites Industry, its products and applications
Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
Working knowledge of Excel, Word, Powerpoint, and other computer applications
Able to travel both domestically and internationally
