This position will provide the daily operations of State Aid Office, to assist the Assistant Commissioner, State Aid and Statewide Radio Communications Division in providing statewide leadership and managerial direction in the development and implementation of local transportation systems. This position will also ensure that the Minnesota county and municipal state aid highway and streets systems are established in accordance with current engineering standards and laws.

To qualify, you must currently be licensed as a Professional Engineer (Civil) with the Minnesota Board of Architecture, Engineering, Land Surveying, Landscape Architecture, Geoscience and Interior Design (AELSLAGID);
Three years of experience as an Administrative Engineer Senior; Administrative Engineer Management;
Three years equivalent engineering leadership experience as above in a complex engineering and management setting (Complex engineering setting means managing professional engineers and other staff and consulting on all engineering principals, rules, regulations sufficient to make leadership decisions on highly sensitive transportation infrastructure matters; managerial setting means those positions being accountable for determining, securing and allocating human, financial and other resources needed to accomplish objectives.)
