Varala Lab and Li Lab at Purdue University now seek applicants for a postdoc position that offers great opportunities of interdisciplinary training in systems biology and transcriptional regulation.
The postdoc will work on a project that combines computational approaches such as machine learning with genetics and genomics approaches to identify and characterize novel transcription factors that regulates traits of agronomic/biofuel importance. Plant molecular biologists with prior experience in Arabidopsis transgenics, biochemistry and/or molecular biology are encouraged to apply. This project offers a unique opportunity for molecular biologists to expand their skill set in genome-level analysis and systems biology.
