Greenman-Pedersen, Inc. (GPI) is seeking a Civil Site Engineering Project Manager to join our growing New England operations in our Salem, NH office. You will be responsible for managing a team of engineers, surveyors, and technicians on various assigned civil land development projects throughout the New England region.
Responsibilities:
Ensure the technical accuracy, standard engineering practices, and inclusion of appropriate documentation on various project plans, reports, and design documents
Prepare construction drawings, plans, and project specifications
Proficient with creating hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, grading plans, drainage plans, utilities, and specifications
Work with peers and mentor junior staff to ensure projects are completed within budget and scope
Project management to include writing contracts, preparing invoices, and managing schedules
Qualifications:
BS in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
PE license is preferred
Experience in land development design, grading, utilities, stormwater management, erosion & sediment control
Knowledge of AutoCAD/Civil 3D is preferred
Experience in AutoCAD Storm and Sanitary Analysis and/or HydroCAD is preferred
Experience in project management or the desire to advance in a PM role
Communication skills to include attendance at public hearings and working with public agencies
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Maintain a valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle report (MVR) for final consideration
Read, write, and understand plans and direction given in the English language
Basic computer skills with the ability to create and edit Microsoft Word and Excel documents, create Outlook emails and utilize SharePoint and Microsoft Teams to communicate with other team members
Able to wear GPI required PPE, i.e., hard hats, safety vest, work boots, safety glasses/goggles, and/or masks while working
