| Position: PROJECT COORDINATOR II Salary: $65,680 Annually Department: Housing and Economic Sustainability (HES) Location: 100 Australian Avenue, WPB Hours: 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., Monday - Friday Other: Valid Florida Driver's License and PBC Risk Management Department driving history approval prior to appointment. This is a Merit System position, funded via grants and the County. Professional and administrative work coordinating the implementation of federally funded housing programs and participating in their planning. Implements housing programs and works directly with program clients and beneficiaries. Duties include processing applications and providing technical assistance to clients and beneficiaries. Work is performed with independence on routine matters within the scope of established policies and procedures. Direction concerning unusual or difficult problems in relation to project planning and implementation is received from the Manager of Capital, Real Estate and Inspection Services who also supervises this employee. Work is reviewed through conferences, reports and meetings with the Manager of Capital, Real Estate and Inspection Services. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering; minimum of two (2) years of experience in engineering work. Equivalency: Related Master’s Degree and one (1) year of related experience. PREFERENCE FOR EXPERIENCE WITH: Federal or state capital improvement project or housing project financing/cost analysis (must specify on application); Davis-Bacon certified payrolls (must specify on application); interpreting construction contracts, plans and specifications (must specify on application); Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968 requirements (must specify on application); Uniform Relocation and Real Property Acquisition Policies Act requirements (must specify on application).
