Incumbent prepares scope of works for RR, assists City Procurement department to get the RR good and/or services, reviews and comments on drawings prepared by designers and inspection of construction for RR and developers projects, and ensures compliance with applicable rules, regulations, policies and procedures. &#xa0;Prepare sketches, designs concept, and proposes specifications; conducts plans review; performs customer services functions; prepares legal documents; coordinates with other Divisions as needed; prepares and processes required reports and records; etc. &#xa0;May oversee the work of Engineer I&#8217;s. &#xa0;Works under limited supervision, with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. The City is currently conducting a compensation and classification study which may modify the minimum requirements, essential functions and salary range indicated on this job posting.  Bachelor&#8217;s degree in civil engineering or other relevant engineering discipline and Professional engineering certification from the State of Florida and 6 years of experience in the design and construction projects, to include 3 years supervising professional engineering functions; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience. 
 Must possess and maintain a valid Florida driver&#39;s license with satisfactory driving record held throughout employment. 
 Must possess computer skills with proficiency in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel, as well as department-specific computer systems and programs.</description>

 Organizational Relationships:  
 Communicates directly with all Quality personnel and interfaces with other internal cross-functional groups (R&#38;D/Process Engineering, Operations, and Logistics) specialists to implement an effective, documented process that defines product Quality requirements, best practice and training materials to support continuous improvement initiatives. 
 Contact with Customers regarding investigations, joint ventures and Supply chain partners

 Responsibilities:  
 
 Facilitates and leads problem-solving for root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) planning. 
 Writes investigation reports for non-conformances and customer complaints. 
 Reviews investigation reports with customers. 
 Leads Quality Dashboard &#38; Quality Metrics &#xa0;(monthly cross-functional team). 
 Works cross-functionally with Manufacturing, R&#38;D, Process Engineering, and Quality. 
 Drives Continuous Improvement through identification of corrective and preventive actions 
 Collate quality data for monitoring targets 
 Applies quality and/or standard-setting body requirements to develop solutions, control and/or maintain technical documents and/or Quality Systems. 
 Perform in-depth internal assessments and evaluations by collecting and analyzing accurate, objective evidence regarding risks and their magnitude.

 WHAT&#39;S NEW WITH APTAR 
 We have an exciting position open in Mukwonago, WI:&#xa0; Plant Quality Engineer , reporting to the Plant Quality Manager. This position is to provide assistance to Mukwonago&#8217;s Quality Systems, and Manufacturing processes. The job requires to assist in establishing and evaluating specifications, process capability, sample plans and time sensitive functional studies. The role requires management of in-process inspection, product audits and rework as required. This role will be responsible for responding to quality notifications, the evaluation of first and last shots, supporting project teams, out of control issues, and change control through quality processes. This position must participate and adhere to all applicable plant certifications including but not limited to, ISO 9001:2015, SQF and BRC. 
 THIS IS HOW YOUR JOURNEY BEGINS 
 
 Manage the plant wide cross-functional corrective action system. Ensure projects are completed on time. 
 Lead the determination of acceptability of products per specified acceptance and rejection criteria. 
 Lead in the development and system implementation that will ensure product conformance to specifications. 
 Supervise in-process inspection process &#38; staff, Specification Control and Product Audits. 
 Continuously review and improve inspection and audit processes to make the function more accurate, efficient, and effective. 
 Work within the organization to execute changes and improvements to the quality process. 
 Lead cross functional problem-solving teams to solve internal &#38; external quality issues. 
 Provide support and training to manufacturing. As well as assist in the collection of data to troubleshoot problems. 
 Participate and/or Lead continuous improvement teams. 
 Assist in the development and review of procedures and work instructions. 
 Facilitate the development of product specifications, procedures and test methods as required.

 WHAT YOU WILL BRING ON THE JOURNEY 
 Education 
 
 BS degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Business Administration preferred or equivalent experience with CQE Certification&#xa0; 
 
 Experience: 
 
 0-5 years of experience as a Quality Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer or equivalent experience 
 Preferred 5-years&#8217; experience Quality Assurance&#xa0; 
 Preferred 3-years&#8217; experience in a supervisory role 
 Preferred experience interacting with customers via phone, email, and face to face 
 Working knowledge of the ISO 9000 and SQF standards and requirements
