This is a lead/supervisory level job class responsible for managing highly visible and sensitive projects.  The Private Road and Landscape Maintenance section manages and provides maintenance services for 68 Permanent Road Division Zones, nine Road Fund Landscape sites, two County Service Areas; and administrates the Street Light District and the Harmony Grove Community Facilities District. Maintenance services are funded by property owner paid assessments and special taxes. The Private Road and Landscape Maintenance section works with property owners and representatives of proposed and existing districts (e.g., Assessment, Special Tax, Permanent Road Division Zone, County Service Area, Underground Utility District, Lighting District) to establish, manage, improve, maintain, and finance various types of infrastructure improvements and maintenance. Minimum Qualifications : Current registration by the State of California as a Professional Engineer, AND , 1. Two (2) years of post-registration experience performing professional civil or structural engineering work;  OR , 2.Two (2) years of experience as a Civil Engineer with the County of San Diego.
