Candidates will be expected to engage in instruction of fundamental and applied geotechnical engineering courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels and enhance the Department’s existing curriculum; establish and maintain a nationally-competitive funded research program; author high-quality peer-reviewed publications; train M.S. and Ph.D. students; and actively engage in service to the profession, university, and state.
